The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticizes the language quotas included in the Law on Electronic Mass Media recently supported by the Saeima. According to a representative of the Russian Ministry, language quotas for TV channels are discrimination of rights and interests of Russian speaking residents of Latvia.
