  • Illegal transportation of Afghanis is one of the main problems faced by the Border Guard Service

According to the head of Border Guard Service Normunds Garbars illegal transportation of Afghani citizens trough Latvia to other European countries is one of the main problems of the Eastern border.  Mr. Garbars states that illegals from Afghanistan get detained almost every month.
